Travel Insurance (must cover all activities undertaken), Nepal Visa, meals not mentioned in itinerary, alcohol, expenses of personal nature e.g. laundry, telephone bill etc, gratuities to staff, any services not mentioned.


This trip is operated at a leisurely pace but there could be some standing around and queuing, especially if you want to join the pilgrims on the hillside at Drepung for the unfurling of the Thanka.  The Potola has around 430 steps to climb.  While in Tibet you will be at high altitude which can make you short of breath.

Minimum fitness level required:

  • To be able to carry your own bag, if required

  • Walk up and down stairs

  • Walk a short distance over uneven ground

Refer to our FAQ's page for information on obtaining a Nepal Visa.  Your Tibetan Visa is included and obtained by our providers in Nepal.  You will need to forward a copy of your passport for them to obtain visa approval documents from the Tibetan Tourist Bureau.  Further details will be provided upon booking.
